Every time there is a discussion, video or a picture of an anime, people will start arguing about who are the best anime character. Now it’s time to settle it and base our interesting rankings with facts. Popularity is not just the only basis but as well as its impact to the people and the gross.

Shinji Ikari

Heroes are stereotyped to be strong, competent, good-looking, self-assured and humble that makes them almost perfect. However, it was the opposite of Shinji. He was a unique kind of hero which is a weak, fearful, whiner, scary and despairing young boy. His piteousness makes him unique from other fantasy anime. The character was inspired by the depressing state of the director which is Hideaki Anno.

Goku 

“Kamehameha Waaaaaaaaave!” that is his famous line. Although, he’s not just the famous on the Dragon Ball Z, he was the one who was able to keep the show running. Decades already passed and he’s still popular to teens and even kids from bags, shoes, costumes, parodies and even some countries  in the world still airs Dragon Ball Z. Even some of the ideas of famous anime now originated from this anime series.

Astro Boy

Astro Boy was already popular during its first appearance way back in 1963. Do you still remember the story about Pinocchio? It was somewhat similar with this popular fairy tale. Dr. Tenma tried to recreate his done who died in an accident with this robot. However, he didn’t just make a common buy but a robot who have super abilities like x-ray vision, feet filled with rocket boosters and a hundred thousand horse power. His design might be a little bit childish, however, it was a symbol of those Japanese children who were able to experience war just few feet away from them.

2. Cartoon Network – This site was currently into a business problem so a network cut off their airing in televisions. However, this channel made it to the top 2. Time Warner owns this channel. Their popular shows are Adventure Time and The Amazing World of Gumball.

3. Disney Channel – Obviously it is one of Disney’s assets and the most expensive television channel for kids. The famous singer Miley Cyrus came from this channel and had her own television show with the name Hanna Montana. Don’t forget Selena Gomez. t was already on-air as early as 1983. It started as a premium cable before they change it into a basic one.

4. Nicktoons – Sounds familiar right? This is also owned by Nickelodeon’s owner, Viacom. They offer modern and classic nicktoons. It was launched 2002. It is available in many cable providers. Almost 60 million households in America watch this channel. They have animated shows like Back at The Barnyard and All Grown Up. Not only that, they offer non-animated shows like Super Rangers which started 1993.

5. Disney XD – Like Nickelodeon having nicktoons and nickjr and Cartoon Network having Boomerang, Disney Channel has also its own sister channel which is Disney XD. It was founded sometime in 2009 and were aimed to children 6-14 years old. They provide alternate Spanish language audio.

2. Do you love mathematics? http://www.coolmath-games.com is all about math games! Their categories vary from strategy, skill, numbers, memory, logic, board. You can even play some of their games in your mobile phones.

3. pbskids.org proclaimed that they offer educational games and videos from Curious George and other PBS kids show. It is a site made by the Public Broadcasting Service. They started as early as 1994.

Their most popular game is the Dolphin Show 4 which only requires you to move the mouse easier than the keyboard. You can also socialize with your fellow members. However, be careful talking to strangers. I tried the game myself and I did not even need to sign up for an account, I can play as a guest.
