Christmas isn’t just decorating your Christmas Tree, exchanging gifts and lavishing on Christmas Food and it doesn’t mean there are only limited things to do as young people. Here are some interesting things you can do during Christmas.

Buy A Real Christmas Tree

Buying a Christmas tree is easy, you just have to stroll into the mall and pick. However, you can change your family’s tradition by picking your own Christmas tree in a yard full of them. We’re talking about trees that grew from the ground. You can go with your family and help them pick the right Christmas for your home.

Christmas Caroling

Suit up, get your sweaters and tie your shoes, don’t just sit on your computer playing computer games. Tell your friends,family and even neighborhood acquaintances that you are feeling festive this year and wants to go out and do Christmas caroling and knocking to different houses. There are a lot of things you can bring like musical instruments such as little drums, flutes and even guitars. You can also use DIY  using bottle caps and even plastic jars filled with coins. This is a good time to also use your singing talent.

Midnight Mass

If you are celebrating Christmas, you are most likely a Christian. However, the catholic’s church is open for anyone, there is no religion involved in attending masses and no one will judge you if you plan to be a guest in one midnight mass. You might have never tried midnight mass and your curiosity might question how is different with other masses. Well it is fun actually, you will be able to sing carols together with the church goers, even see a real nativity scene and make peace with people inside the church.

Did you meet someone new in your school, neighborhood or even in a playground? And you wonder how will you be a good friend to her/him so that you will best friends forever! Well, worry no more of losing a special someone. Here are interesting tips to become proclaimed as a good acquaintance.

Friends are known for giving advice and tips to their companions. This comes the “roles” which makes the worried friend the “know-it-all” and the one with the “no-idea-at-all”. Your friend don’t want that kind of part in your friendship, neither you. Be a psychologist, ask her or him questions and let him or her think an idea from it or encouraging remarks. If your opinion is being asked, that’s the only time you have the unspoken right to give advice.

You will not only find friends from your school but also from other people especially your playmates and neighbors. The more, the merrier!

Being real is one of the most important thing. It’s like saying you don’t want it because you don’t like it and you really appreciate it ’cause it’s genuinely nice. Backbiting is a NO NO and sharing secrets which aren’t yours to gossip is a BIG NO NO too. Not only your friend needs a hug from his or her success but also a shoulder to cry on.

You don’t have to give them expensive presents to please them and make them love you. Simple gestures such as sharing your toys, inviting them to your birthday party will already be fully understand that you really care for them. Don’t just do these things because you need A LOT OF FRIENDS. REMEMBER, it’s better to have less than to have more.

Being Independent

Being independent doesn’t mean you need to go to school alone, work to be able to sustain yourself and doing your homework on your own. There are simple things that you should do by yourself. Being Confident

It is normal for a child to be doubtful about going to a new and strange place without their parents. Without them, they feel that they’re not secured. However, it doesn’t mean you should sit at the corner of your classroom and not participating with fun activities.
